This page is maintained by Tendex to explain the rules that govern use of the platform. By creating an account or using any part of the service, you agree to these terms.
Tendex is an online platform that connects adult customers in South Africa with companions for non-sexual, paid social companionship. All meetings are arranged as video calls conducted inside the Tendex app. No physical meetings are facilitated or permitted.
You must be 18 years or older and a resident of South Africa to use Tendex. We do not knowingly allow minors or users outside of South Africa to create accounts. If you become aware of an under-age account, please report it immediately.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You may not share your account, impersonate another person, or use a false identity. One individual may hold both a customer and companion profile on the same account, but each profile must represent the same real person.
You may not use Tendex to request, offer, advertise, or arrange sexual services, escort services, adult content, or any illegal activity. Harassment, hate speech, discrimination, threats, fraud, spam, or attempts to move transactions off-platform are also prohibited. Video calls may not be recorded or redistributed without explicit written consent from the other party.
Customers pay for the total duration of a booking at the companion's listed hourly rate. Payments are processed through the platform's payment provider. The companion receives the agreed amount minus the platform commission and any applicable fees. Cancellations and rescheduling are subject to the time limits shown at the point of action.
You retain ownership of the content you upload, but you grant Tendex a limited licence to display it on the platform. Reviews must be truthful and may not contain insults or personal information. Tendex may remove content that violates these terms or community guidelines.
Tendex may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, fail verification, or pose a risk to the community. You may delete your account at any time from your settings; deletion may take up to 30 days to complete across backups.
Tendex provides the platform only and is not a party to any agreement between a customer and companion. We do not guarantee the availability, behaviour, or suitability of any user. Use the service at your own discretion.
These terms may be updated from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the app. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
